Pro-Trapper Professional Live Catch Guillotine Door Animal Trap

Younger Bros. Pro-Trapper Animal Trap is designed  after our popular Guillotine Hog Trap Front and Larger Guillotine Feral Hog Cage Trap. Whether your trapping nuisance animals such as Raccoons, Opossum, Skunks, Feral Cats, Armadillos or larger animals such as Coyotes, Wild Dogs, Large Cats or Small Feral Hogs, this trap will get the job done. Unlike many other manufacturers traps our Pro-Trapper Small animal trap is an interactive trap that requires the target animal to physically bite and pull on the bait which is a more natural action that occurs in the wild (see our tips and tricks page for trapping small to medium size animals).

Our Heavy Duty Guillotine Animal Trap is built unlike most other animal traps as it is designed to catch small animals such as Raccoons, Opossums, Skunks and Armadillos as well as large Animals including Coyotes, Feral Cats, Large Cats, Wild Dogs etc.......  The big difference in our traps is that we extensively test every trap model we design. The pictures of the animals you see on our site were all trapped by us in testing and are not pictures sent in by customers that happened to be lucky enough to trap an animal that the trap was not really designed to trap. Our traps are extensively tested for smooth door operation and our door trip latch is unlike any other in the industry. Our door latch trip attaches the bait directly to the doors trip line unlike other traps that require the animal to step on a rocker plate while attempting to reach the bait. Often times these traps fail due to the trip plates movement which is usually located half way into the trap leaving the animal to close to the traps drop door which can actually hit the animal on the back allowing it to simply back out of the trap leaving the traps doors closed with nothing inside. Our traps are designed to get the animal to the back of the trap to get to the bait putting plenty of room in-between the animal and the closing the door. This design means more trapped animals and less expensive stolen bait to replace.

Animal Trap Features:

• Full Steel Frame (most animal traps are flimsy bent wire mesh that can be bent and crushed.

• 1/4" Galvanized Wire Mesh Sides, Top and Bottom (we don't use flimsy wire mesh)

• Spring loaded Door Lock keeps even the strongest and smartest animals from figuring out how to open the door, once the door is shut it cannot be opened until the door lock is pulled.

• Shielded Door Trip Line prevents animals such as Raccoons from tripping the door from the top.

• Large 29" x 29" door opening encourages animals to enter the trap unobstructed.

• Built in Door Handle for easy raising of the door.

• Comes with door safety pin which prevents the traps door from accidently closing while the trap is being set.

Our Pro-Trapper Animal Trap is ideal for any animal control project. The door trip mechanism can be set in two different ways allowing this trap to be one of the most versatile traps ever designed. This trap allows use of a "Cup" which allows the user to place bait such as soured corn or other pellet or grain type bait in or attach solid bones or meat directly to the doors trip line. By attaching the bait directly to the trip line this causes the animal to focus it's attention on the getting the bait. All it takes is less than 1/4" of movement of the bait cup or solid bait attached to the line for the traps door to be triggered and locked closed.

Trap Accessories/ Options:

The Pro-Trapper Guillotine small Animal Trap is a live, interactive catch trap which is designed to safely trap and secure small to medium size animals for catch and release. Once the animal is trapped the trap can be loaded in the back of a truck or trailer and transported to an area that is safe for the species of trapped animal. The animals in the pictures above were released back into the wild unharmed.
